At APP, we always put the safety of our colleagues, products, and consumers first and we have taken appropriate measures to protect our workforce and our facilities.
We continue monitoring the COVID-19 pandemic and adjusting our business procedures as needed to protect our employees and our customers, aligned with direction from governments and health authorities such as:
- Restriction of health and safety procedures across our facilities, including additional safety and hygiene measures, adopting health screenings, and beyond.
- Implement remote working policies and procedures when and where applicable.
- Global travel restrictions and quarantine procedures.
- Keeping all employees well informed, regular monitoring, and tracking on the health status.
Although our business faces challenges, we manage to protect our employees from market disruption and try our best to always provide all the supports they need. This year, we already started implementing the vaccination program for all employees in May 2021. APP Sinar Mas is humbled to be a part of the first 19 companies participating in the Indonesian government’s ‘Gotong Royong’ (Communal) Vaccination Program.
