Chicago, Illinois – APP Group and Charta Global Inc., its exclusive sales channel in the US and LATAM, will be introducing its new Sinar Vanda Hi-Brite C1S, 92 brightness at Pack Expo International. This new paperboard provides a 10%-20% yield advantage over similar products and delivers an equal brightness and shade to the company’s Sinar Vanada Lumina C2S product. Also on display will be the company’s Foopak suite of sustainable food packaging solutions, new flexible PFAS-Free paper, finished foodservice and stationery products.
The new Sinar Vanda Hi-Brite C1S fulfills the market demands for sophisticated graphics and sharper print quality surface. The paperboard is the ideal choice for folding cartons, boxes, belly-bands, sleeves, brochures, soft-cover books, labels for corrugated packaging, calendars, and many more end use applications. By using advanced paper engineering technology, Sinar Vanda Hi-Brite offers a true yield advantage, providing roughly 10% more sheets, at the same weight as other paper providers. This allows packaging converters to reduce overall purchasing costs as well as lower supply chain transportation costs that are based on weight.
APP’s Foopak full suite of food service and food packaging will also be on display. Featured within the suite is its award-winning plastic-free, recyclable and compostable Foopak Bio Natura for hot/cold cups, bowls, folding cartons, trays, plates and cutlery.
Other highlighted products will be Sinar Vanda Lumina C2S, finished food service and retail bags, stationery products such as note pads, and Enza flexible food wraps, including the new addition to APP’s line of products, PFAS-free, Enza Shield, a flexible paper which is suitable for bags, cutlery pouches, and secondary packaging.
“We are excited to introduce our new Sinar Vanda Hi-Brite C1S to the market. Printers and converters have long been awaiting a bright white C1S that meets the market demands and matches the Sinar Vanda Lumina C2S product,” said Christopher Wong, SVP & Global BU Head Industrial White, APP Group.
As a welcomed addition to the booth, Charta Global’s valued customer, EcoTensil, will be showcasing their new trays and cutlery made from Foopak Bio Natura paperboard. These plastic-free products provide a new compostable and recyclable solution to reduce single-use plastic products.
