Asia Pulp & Paper (APP) Sinar Mas is currently engaged in a dialogue with FSC to prepare for when the FSC Remedy Framework becomes effective in July 2023. FSC and APP will be working together on setting up the project and contracts to start the remedy process, referring to the approved Remedy Framework (FSC-PRO-01-007-V1-0).
There will be several steps on the remedy process that need to be fulfilled as part of the process up to the stage where the threshold must be agreed by FSC and APP. By undergoing all these processes progressively, APP will then seek to end disassociation with FSC.
