That was the main reason the Culture Inspiration Day 2021 was held by Asia Pulp & Paper (APP) Sinar Mas handled by the Corporate Culture and Employee Engagement division. The event was held online attended by the APP Sinar Mas boards and hundreds of employees.
APP Sinar Mas has five corporate values such as Honesty & Integrity, Customer Focused, Act as An Owner, Result Oriented, and Continuous Improvement. APP Sinar Mas through their inspirational figures as known as Best Employee & Culture Ambassadors shared their testimonials on how they practice each value.
Wawan Nuryono is a Manager PM13 from PT Pabrik Kertas Tjiwi Kimia Tbk, that responsible for maintaining the operational production of the PM13 machine. Wawan shared that implementing the corporate values helps him to achieve the best results. “Just like the wolves fighting their enemy until the end, for me, being one of the APP’s employees makes me learn how to be a real fighter. I learn how to be determined, to keep trying beyond the limit, and be innovative so that APP can strive in the global market,” he said.
Agus Nadi, Head of Corporate Culture and Employee Engagement APP Sinar Mas, also said that this corporate value guideline is an effective way to achieve the company’s vision and mission. “I hope by these values implementation can help APP employees to be great leaders that enables them to be the forefront of this sustainable manufacture industry basis,” he stated.
Other activities such as video and photo competitions and other related events will be held simultaneously in the spirit of the Iron Army to inculcate the APP Culture House. This employee engagement activity aimed to help the employee perceive the APP Sinar Mas company culture that could help them fully contribute and to develop themselves unto their very best.
