PT Pabrik Kertas Tjiwi Kimia Tbk received the Investor Awards 2019 for the forestry, pulp & paper sector. The award was given by Majalah Investor in recognition of the company’s fundamental performance in 2017-2018, which was outstanding amongst the 629 issuers listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange per March 31, 2019. The awards ceremony was held in Jakarta on Thursday evening (05/16/2019).
The theme of this year’s ranking of issuers is “Sustaining Performance in Fragile Global Environment”. The jury set this theme to ensure that the winners of the Investor Awards are able to respond to the demands of global uncertainty with a business approach that was innovative, efficient, and adaptive to new approaches in the era of modern business.
“From the entire assessment process, those who proved to be the best were able to address global uncertainty with efficiency and innovation. They had also made various adjustments at the organizational and HR levels, products, and adapted to the developments of modern business,” explained Roy Sembel, Chair of the 2019 Investor Awards Jury.
