1. PT Ekamas Fortuna Supports Batik Artisans in Kaputren, Malang

PT Ekamas Fortuna is supporting the improvement of the local economy in the Sengguruh Village through the development of the Kaputren batik group. In addition to creating job opportunities and increasing local income, this program also aims to promote the cultural heritage of Sengguruh Village. A total of 17 batik artisans in the Kaputren batik group are continuously motivated to enhance their skills in order to produce high-quality batik fabrics. With dedication and hard work, the Kaputren batik group has created beautiful batik artworks.

2. PT Bumi Mekar Hijau Organizes Free Mass Medical Treatment and Circumcision for Adopted Villages

Under the theme "Company's Care for Adopted Villages," PT Bumi Mekar Hijau (BMH) organized a free mass medical treatment and circumcision event for their adopted village in the Balai Desa Tulung Seluang, Tulung Selapan District, Ogan Komerang Ilir Regency (OKI). A total of 80 residents participated in the mass medical treatment and circumcision, involving medical personnel from the company and the village. The hope is that this event can improve the local community's health quality.

3. Caring for the Clean Water Crisis, PT IKPP - Serang Mill Provides clean Water Access through Drilling Wells

PT Indah Kiat Pulp & Paper Tbk (IKPP) - Serang Mill has provided assistance in the form of deep wells to five districts in East Serang, including Kragilan, Pontang, Tanara, Tirtayasa, and Carenang. This assistance is given because these areas are experiencing a clean water crisis due to prolonged drought. In addition, PT IKPP - Serang Mill has also collaborated with the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) of Banten Province to deliver ten tanks of clean water to ten locations currently facing a clean water crisis.

4. Tzu Chi APP Volunteers from KMA Lampung Conduct Social Service Health Care for Hundreds of Mandah Village Residents

The Tzu Chi APP Volunteer Community from PT Konverta Mitra Abadi (KMA) organized a social service health care event in the vicinity of Mandah Village, Natar District, South Lampung Regency. Held at SDN Mandah, a total of 385 patients received general health care services, including blood sugar and blood pressure checks. While in the field, the Tzu Chi volunteers also identified several residents with specific health conditions, such as cataracts. Recognizing these conditions, the volunteers will follow up on the needs of these patients by providing assistance in the form of cataract surgery.

5. PT LPPPI and MUI West Tanjung Jabung Regency Conduct Training on Handling Deceased Bodies

PT Lontar Papyrus Pulp & Paper Industry (PT LPPPI) collaborated with the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) of West Tanjung Jabung Regency to organize training on handling deceased bodies in the Tebing Tinggi Sub-district on October 11-12, 2023. The first day of training included sharing information and regulations from MUI regarding the handling of deceased bodies, topics on illness and death, and the theory of handling deceased bodies from MUI West Tanjung Jabung Regency. On the second day, the training included practical aspects such as bathing, shrouding, performing funeral prayers, and burying the deceased. Through this training, it is hoped that more people will understand the procedures and steps to be taken promptly when someone in their community passes away.
