APP Group Collaborates with Various Universities for Employee Recruitment

Jakarta, 25 October 2023 – In an effort to support human resource development in Indonesia, APP Group collaborates with various leading universities in Indonesia to implement a recruitment program for these university alumni. This program runs from the end of September 2023 until November 16 2023 in various regions, including Institut Teknologi Bandung, Universitas Negeri Malang, Universitas Katolik Widya Mandala, Universitas Sriwijaya, Universitas Katolik Soegijapranata, Universitas Negeri Semarang, Universitas Sumatera Utara, Universitas Katolik Atma Jaya, Institut Pertanian Stiper, and Universitas Gadjah Mada.

During the APP Group's visit to the Universitas Negeri Malang (UM), UM Director of Student and Alumni Affairs Dr. Heny Kusdiyanti, M.M in his speech, emphasized the importance of student activities during lectures as one of the main considerations in the company's recruitment process. "Students who are active in various organizations or who often win competitions have added value compared to students who only focus on their lecture routines (5/10)," explained Heny.

Meanwhile, Secretary of the Educational and Professional Development Institute at Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) Mohamad Ikhwan Rosyidi, S.S., M.A., emphasized how important it is for students to have a plan in planning their future careers. “Students need to know their own passions and where they want to develop their careers. The event held by APP today is a very good session for students to realize how important it is to have a career plan for the future. "Apart from that, today's event marks the start of the cooperative relationship between Unnes and APP (20/10)," said Ikhwan.

Separately, APP Director Suhendra Wiriadinata revealed that young talent is the key to the future of the industry, and emphasized the importance of collaboration between industry and the world of education.

"We support the government's vision of improving the quality of human resources in Indonesia. Through this collaboration, we hope to provide opportunities for the best graduates to contribute actively to industry and national development," explained Suhendra.

Talent Acquisition APP Yohanna expressed her gratitude to the campuses for providing the opportunity for APP to carry out recruitment activities on campus. "We welcome this collaboration and hope that the synergy between the campus and APP can provide benefits for both parties," said Yohanna.

By carrying out this activity, it is hoped that alumni will have wider opportunities to pursue a career at APP, while supporting the vision of developing reliable and competent human resources for Indonesia's future.
