Jakarta, May 31, 2024 - APP Group received prestigious awards from HR Asia in two main categories: Best Companies to Work 2024 and Sustainability Workplace Awards 2024. This award recognizes APP Group's commitment to creating an excellent work environment and outstanding HR practices.

"We welcome the awards. This reflects our efforts to create an inclusive, innovative, and sustainable workplace. At APP Group, we are always committed to improving employee welfare and continue to innovate in our HR practices," said APP Group Managing Director Suhendra Wiriadinata.

As part of its HR initiatives to improve its Employee Value Proposition and Branding, APP Group this year participated in an awards ceremony organized by HR Asia. "The awards highlight our efforts in creating a comfortable workplace, positive culture, and exemplary HR practices," Suhendra added.

In 2023, APP Group organized various HR programs to enhance employee well-being and engagement. These initiatives include seven batches of cultural webinars, sharing sessions for management trainees, and a cultural ambassador profiling campaign with over 99% participation since 2021. Wellbeing programs include mental health check-ups, inspirational webinars for women, and wellness competitions.

APP Group has also shown a strong commitment to the implementation of DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) in the workplace. Some of the DEI initiatives carried out include inspirational webinars for women, photo and video contests, and the provision of supporting facilities such as lactation rooms and special parking for pregnant women. In addition, APP Group also organizes health program activities for early prevention of cervical cancer.

The initiatives undertaken by APP Group have had a positive impact on both the business and employees. Over the past five years, average staff turnover decreased from 7% to 4%, production volume increased by an average of 3% per year, and labor costs were reduced by 5% through automation and digitization. In addition, employee satisfaction with welfare programs reached 95% based on a survey with a score of 3.83 out of 4.

For 2024 and 2025, APP Group has planned various HR strategies for sustainable growth and resilience. Some of the plans include improving technology, processes, and human resource development, building a strong corporate culture to promote inclusion and an attractive work environment, as well as offering flexible work arrangements and seeking feedback to improve corporate policies.
