Jakarta, 29 May 2024 - APP Group achieved the highest achievement at the TOP CSR Awards 2024, where eight business units won the prestigious award in recognition of their commitment and innovation in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs.
The award confirms that APP Group's CSR programs not only provide social benefits to the community and environment, but also support sustainable business growth. The programs are in line with the Company's Sustainability Roadmap Vision (SRV) 2030.

"We not only fulfill the provisions of ISO 26000 and environmental aspects, but also pay attention to Creating Shared Value (CSV) aspects and CSR alignment to support the Company's business to grow sustainably," Suhendra continued.
TOP CSR Awards 2024 on # Star 5 was given to PT Tjiwi Kimia Paper Mill Tbk. While seven companies such as: PT Indah Kiat Pulp & Paper (Tangerang), PT Indah Kiat Pulp & Paper (Serang), PT Indah Kiat Pulp & Paper (Perawang), PT OKI Pulp & Paper, PT Lontar Papyrus, PT Arara Abadi, and PT Sumalindo Hutani Jaya received TOP CSR Awards 2024 on # Star 4.
One example of a real CSR initiative is through the local community empowerment program run by PT Tjiwi Kimia. Through this program, the Company provides access to cooperation in construction, material/goods supply and services with 95 local suppliers involving more than 5,454 workers.
In addition, PT Tjiwi Kimia also has a program to utilize coal combustion ash waste (fly ash & bottom ash) as a mixture of brick and paving blocks distributed to schools, community sanitation development, and village infrastructure.
PT Tjiwi Kimia has also implemented the PAMSIMAS Community-Based Water Supply and Sanitation Program Development which has succeeded in increasing access to clean water for residents from 10 house channels to 305 house channels, as well as the construction of 26 independent toilets and 2 MCK & ablution facilities at the Singkalan Village Mosque. In addition, there is a reforestation program by planting 15,000 kaliandra trees and 2,000 bamboo trees to support environmental conservation.
