1. DLHK Banten and IKPP Tangerang Mill Inaugurate “ProKlim” Program in Pakualam
PT Indah Kiat Pulp & Paper Tbk (IKPP) Tangerang together with the Environment and Forestry Agency (DLHK) officially starts the Climate Village Program (‘ProKlim’) in RW 004, Pakualam, North Serpong, South Tangerang by providing ready-to-plant trees and carts. ProKlim is hoped to support the climate change stability through community empowerment initiatives aim in preserving the surrounding environment, starting from training, mentoring to the ability to growing their own crops. This effort has been carried out by PT IKPP Tangerang for the last 2 years.
2. The Ministry of Agriculture Develops Honey Bee Training in Jambi
The development of human resource competencies carried out by the Ministry of Agriculture targets all fields, including honey bee cultivation. To maximize this, the Ministry of Agriculture through the Jambi Agricultural Training Center (Bapeltan) received support from PT Wirakarya Sakti (PT WKS) in the form of providing 1,600 acacia seeds that are ready to be planted. This collaboration is in line with the direction of the Minister of Agriculture, Syahrul Yasin Limpo, who said that agricultural growth must be followed by reliable human resources.
3. Indah Kiat Port Operation, Help Unravel Vehicle Density at Merak Port
APP Sinar Mas through one of its subsidiaries, Pelabuhan Indah Kiat supported the Ketupat Maung 2022 Operation series, which was implemented by the Banten Police for 16 days on 22 April by opening additional ports and docks. This support aims to reduce congestion at the ASDP Merak Crossing Port, Banten. Indah Kiat Port and 7 other piers provided services to the community during homecoming, return flows and tourist destinations.
4. The Tzu Chi Foundation and APP Sinar Mas Share Love, Share Stories
The Tzu Chi Volunteer Community of Sinar Mas Branch of PT Konverta Mitra Abadi (KMA) Lampung conducted counseling and outreach on stunting prevention aimed at village officials and posyandu cadres in the working area of the Branti Raya Health Center and also during the procession, symbolically handed over posyandu equipments to the Regent of South of Lampung, Nanang Hermanto.
